Later I was thinking what a perfect song She's Lost Control Is. So simple, no solos, no trivial embellishment, just a relentless beat and the irony of writing a song about epilepsy and then a few months later getting the disease yourself. I think it's one of the greatest songs ever written, and it's not even the best song Joy Division have.
Today I went to Hollywood with Jason and his friend to see Limits of Control. A Jim Jarmusch movie. I am glad I saw the movie, but it was a bit painful to watch, REALLY slow. Little dialogue (even though what was there was really good and the acting was really good). A lot of great actors, including Bill Muray, John Hurt, and Gael Garcia Bernal. It was nostalgic seeing that the movie took place in Seville and Almeria (where I spent two weeks two years ago).

Sunday I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine. All I can say, one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I knew it would be bad going in, but . . . it was just laughable. As someone put it: "the special effects are refuges from the 1990s." I don't even want to waste time writing about it . . .
